The 2021 University of Ghana Students’ Representative Council (UGSRC) Election, that eventually ushered the Asumadu-Ndukwe “y3y3 dᴐm” SRC into office, shall be remembered for its months of litigation.

More distinguishing were the internal steps parties took in resolving their differences; making their way back to the Judicial Board, a body that fell victim to politics of convenience and bastardization.

In this documentary, the writer, a legal activist best described as an “amicus curiae” of the time due to his regular legal activism and punditry on Radio Univers, responds to the dearth of the documentation of student litigations across the country by narrating the lessons that Ghana’s student movement and the entire UG community must take from the 2021 Election Petition.
